Sports, Arts & Extra-Curricular

Alongside regular school lessons we are keen to allow each child to develop their non-academic abilities; this means giving them the opportunity to get involved with various sports as well as music & drama and a variety of extra-curricular activities.

Trinity is blessed with over 75 acres of beautiful grounds and sports fields, together with a recently added ‘outdoor cycle track’ area for the younger pupils. We have a wonderful new indoor heated swimming pool and all children will be taught to swim in weekly sessions.

Over and above this the school has excellent on-site sports facilities including those for football, tennis, netball, rounders, hockey, cross country, athletics, cycling, basketball, gymnastics, ballet, fitness training and table tennis.

We are always keen to expand the suite of sports on offer as well as the facilities; to this end plans are currently in place to introduce a new sports hall as well as an all-weather astro turf pitch.

Students are able to broaden their horizons and get involved with various activities ranging from Photography to Chess, there is also the opportunity to complete all levels of the Duke of Edinburgh award.

Music & Drama

Private lessons are offered for a number of instruments such as: piano, violin, viola, French horn, cello, trumpet, flute, guitar, saxophone, drums, trombone and clarinet. The lessons can be arranged through the school.

Pupils also have the opportunity to get involved with various areas within Drama from Choral Speaking to Verse Reading, they can also become part of the Debating Society.
